UltraTech plans over 600 EV trucks for logistics

UltraTech Cement plans to scale its electric logistics fleet to over 600 EV trucks by year-end. The fleet aims to move about five million tonnes of clinker yearly across seven states. Once running, it is projected to cut over 1.17 lakh tonnes of carbon yearly, displacing 39 million litres of diesel. UltraTech already runs over 850 CNG and electric trucks.
