Karnataka CID arrests IAS officer Gangwar in exam case

Karnataka CID arrested IAS officer Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar late Saturday after questioning over alleged KPSC exam irregularities. Hindustan Times reported the FIR alleges he received Rs 1.1 crore from two candidates to tamper with OMR sheets. Officials said he was questioned for about nine hours on Friday and again on Saturday. The case moved to CID on July 28.
