Aide's twelve-year-old daughter found dead in Baramati

On 23 August 2026, the 12-year-old daughter of Ajit Dashavatare, personal assistant to NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar, was found dead near her home in Sainagar, Rui village, Baramati. Police said the body was found about 8.30 am after the family reported her missing the previous night. A post-mortem was ordered at Baramati Government Medical College.
