Three thousand gas cylinders swept into river in Raigad floods

About 3,000 filled and empty gas cylinders from an HPCL bottling plant in Chavane, Panvel, were swept into the Patalganga River during torrential rain in Khalapur on July 9, Rediff reported. Khalapur Police Inspector Abhijit Bhujbal confirmed the incident. Raigad Collector Kishan Jawale warned residents not to touch any cylinders spotted along riverbanks.
