Uno Minda plans Rs 1,415 crore capacity expansion

Uno Minda on Tuesday announced capacity projects totaling around Rs 1,415 crore. A Rs 510 crore Hosur aluminium casting plant would lift peak capacity from about 13,000 MT to 34,000 MT. A 3.3 million-unit two-wheeler alloy wheel plant at Kharkhoda carries Rs 155 crore extra capex. A Toyoda Gosei joint-venture plant in Maharashtra is pegged at about Rs 670 crore.
