India condemns reported demolition of 125-year-old gurdwara in Pakistan

The Ministry of External Affairs on July 1 condemned the reported demolition of Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha Sahib in Farooqabad, Pakistan, calling it a targeted act of vandalism. Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said portions were demolished during the intervening night of June 24 and 25. India urged Pakistan to investigate, punish perpetrators and restore the demolished shrine at the earliest.
