Naidu proposes 5,000 Venkateswara temples across Andhra

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on September 16, 2026 proposed 5,000 Venkateswara temples statewide under the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams Srivani scheme. Reviewing TTD plans with Endowments Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, he said Mauritius and New Zealand had sought temples. More than 12 lakh people have registered as Srivari Sevaks. He cited Annadanam Trust funds of Rs 3,165 crore.
