India and China hold first Corps Commander talks in Arunachal

Indian and Chinese armies held their first Corps Commander-level meeting in Arunachal Pradesh on September 6 at the Wacha-Damai border meeting point. Lieutenant General Girish Kalia of the 3 Corps led a 12-member Indian delegation. Corps Commander talks have largely been held in Ladakh since the June 2020 Galwan Valley clashes. Reports of tension had emerged in the Taksing area.
