Dhaka ties Rahman India visit to Hasina extradition

Bangladesh's foreign ministry said on 16 August that a propitious environment is required for Prime Minister Tarique Rahman's possible India visit. Spokesperson A.K.M. Shahidul Karim said Dhaka has asked India to extradite Sheikh Hasina and other fugitives, and to hand over those accused of killing Sharif Osman Hadi. India said the extradition request is under examination.
