Former MP and Congress leader V. S. Ugrappa said the BJP, RSS and VHP have hijacked Lord Ram for political gain and stayed silent on alleged misuse of Ayodhya Ram temple funds, The Hindu reported. Speaking in Karwar and Belagavi, he demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah take moral responsibility and resign.
