FPIs withdraw Rs 20,974 crore from Indian equities in September

Foreign Portfolio Investors pulled out Rs 20,974 crore from Indian equities in September through September 18, CDSL data show. That follows July and August inflows of Rs 20,200 crore and Rs 29,630 crore. FPIs have withdrawn Rs 2.45 lakh crore from equities so far in 2026, above the Rs 1.66 lakh crore outflow for all of 2025.
