Nanded kirpan attack is Badal's second in two years

Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal was attacked with a kirpan at Gurdwara Mata Sahib Deva Ji in Nanded on August 13. Police named 62-year-old Nihang Jaspal Singh, a sevadar at the shrine for about two years. Badal suffered a hand injury. Inspector Santosh Kendre was hurt while intervening. Both were treated and reported stable.
