Geely claims 4.5-minute EV charge to 70%

Geely on Wednesday unveiled an ultra-fast charging system with peak output up to 2.25 megawatts. It said the setup can charge an EV from 10 percent to 70 percent in 4.5 minutes. A 10 percent to 97 percent charge takes 8 minutes 40 seconds at room temperature. BYD cites 10 percent to 97 percent charging in 9 minutes.
