FPIs withdraw Rs 13,138 crore from equities

Foreign portfolio investors pulled Rs 13,138 crore from Indian equities in early September, CDSL data show. That followed net buying of Rs 20,200 crore in July and Rs 29,630 crore in August. NSDL logged the same September figure through September 11. 2026 FPI equity outflows reached Rs 2.37 lakh crore, above Rs 1.66 lakh crore withdrawn in all of 2025.
