Textile team courts EU buyers ahead of FTA

A Ministry of Textiles delegation visited France and Italy to meet retailers before the India-EU free trade agreement is expected early next year. In Paris, officials met Monoprix, Okaidi, Chanel and LVMH. Bharat Tex Trade Federation and Première Vision SA signed an MoU on September 2. India's textile and apparel exports to the EU were about $10.4 billion in 2025.
