ED searches Azam Khan trust and university premises

The Enforcement Directorate on 19 August 2026 searched about 10 premises in Rampur, Saharanpur and Delhi linked to the Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar Trust and Mohammad Ali Jauhar University. Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan is a key trustee. The Lucknow office acted under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Officials said they are tracing records and alleged proceeds of crime.
