Karnataka anaesthetist stabbed to death, eight-year-old son injured

Dr Kiran Honnannavar, 45, an anaesthetist, was found fatally stabbed in his Dharwad apartment on July 15. His eight-year-old son sustained serious stab injuries in the same incident. Police took his wife Dr Priya into custody for questioning. Honnannavar worked at a private hospital and lived at Ranka Stello Apartments on Karnataka University Road. A murder case has been registered.
