Shamli police kill Balyan suspects with Rs 50,000 rewards

Suspects Sumit and Mohit, linked to Haryanvi singer Ankit Balyan's murder, were killed in a Shamli Police and SWAT encounter on Monday. Police said each carried a reward of Rs 50,000. Balyan was shot outside a Shamli gym on August 26 by four assailants on two motorcycles. Two pistols and cartridges were recovered at the site.

- CCTV had earlier traced an escape route through Shamli, Loni, Delhi and Sonipat.
