Gauhati University student found dead, friend held

A 22-year-old Gauhati University student was found unconscious at a homestay near Azara on Guwahati's outskirts and was declared brought dead at hospital, police said. The deceased was Nimisha Thakuria. Police arrested Ashik Ali. DCP Bolin Deori said three youths brought her to Azara Primary Health Centre early Saturday. Police found injury marks on the body.
