BJP wins 6 of 7 Rajasthan mayoral polls

The BJP won mayoral posts in six of seven major Rajasthan Municipal Corporations on Monday, including Ajmer and Pali where Congress held more councillor seats. Congress kept Bikaner with Anil Kalla while BJP candidates were unopposed in Bharatpur and Bhilwara. Top posts were filled in 273 urban bodies after September ward polls where BJP won 4,182 wards.
