Three Rajya Sabha MPs who joined the BJP on July 9 have been named candidates for July 24 bypolls, NDTV reported. Shubhendu Shekhar Roy, Sushmita Dev and Prakash Chik Baraik resigned Trinamool seats before switching sides. State BJP chief Samik Biswas said the party still rejects corrupt TMC leaders but welcomed those who did not oppress people or sell jobs.
