Jharkhand High Court stays JPSC appointment cancellations

On 20 August 2026, Justice Deepak Roshan of the Jharkhand High Court stayed state notifications that cancelled appointments made through the 11th to 13th Jharkhand Public Service Commission examinations. The court also stayed cancellation of food safety officer appointments. The state must file a reply by 15 September, the next listed hearing date in Ranchi.

- If you were appointed through the 11th, 12th or 13th JPSC, or as a food safety officer in this set, the stay means you continue in the post until the next hearing unless a later finding names malpractice.
- Anyone who joined the student stir for cancellation should note the court paused only some already-made appointments. The wider list of scrapped exams was not wiped out in this order.
