IAF conducts trial of Khagantak-243 glide bomb
The Hindu··3 Sept
The Indian Air Force successfully conducted a drop trial of the indigenously designed Khagantak-243 long-range glide bomb. The IAF said on X that the trial met all objectives and marked a milestone for Indian industry. Long-range glide bombs let aircraft strike targets from stand-off distances. The test supports the push to reduce dependence on imported weapons.
