Nepal flags flood risk in 12 districts after rains

Nepal's weather department warned of heavy to very heavy rains in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Karnali. Twelve districts are at high flood risk, including Gorkha, Kaski, Banke and Kailali. Prime Minister Balendra Shah told the UN General Assembly the Bhotekoshi-Trishuli floods were a warning. He proposed a Himalayan Climate Resilience Mechanism with India and China.
