Injured tiger dies at Corbett rescue centre in Uttarakhand

An adult male tiger was rescued in critical condition from the Phato range of Uttarakhand's Terai West forest division. It died during treatment at the Dhela rescue centre in Corbett National Park on Tuesday evening. Veterinarians conducted a postmortem on Wednesday under National Tiger Conservation Authority guidelines. Samples go to institutes in Bareilly and Dehradun.
