Peskov says Russia welcomes India's Ukraine peace efforts

Russia said on Tuesday it will welcome Indian efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict by peaceful means. Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said New Delhi's position largely matches Moscow's. He said President Vladimir Putin will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday beside the BRICS summit. Peskov called proposed US 100 percent tariffs on Russian crude buyers illegal and unacceptable.
