Centre cuts edible oil customs duties from today

The Centre cut Basic Customs Duty on edible oils effective September 24. Crude sunflower oil duty falls from 10 percent to zero. Refined sunflower oil duty drops from 32.5 percent to 22.5 percent. Crude palm and soybean oil duties fall from 10 percent to 5 percent. Refined palm and soybean oil duties fall from 32.5 percent to 27.5 percent.
