NCP(SP) patriarch Sharad Pawar met Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde for 15 minutes at the Assembly on July 9 and later held an NCP legislators' meeting in Shinde's office, NDTV reported. Shinde cut short a cabinet meeting to welcome Pawar with a bouquet. Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut called Shinde a traitor and said the meeting hurt all MVA allies.
