Iran talks and Lebanon fighting collide diplomatically

The de-escalation claim came after Iran signalled it could suspend talks with Washington if Israeli operations in Lebanon continued. Hezbollah had launched rockets at Israeli military infrastructure in Tiberias and Nahariya, calling them a response to ceasefire violations.
