Pakistan seeks Canada support on Indus Waters Treaty

Pakistan's Deputy PM Ishaq Dar on July 20 sought Canada's support for restoration of the Indus Waters Treaty during talks with Foreign Minister Anita Anand in Islamabad. Anand's visit marked the first by a Canadian foreign minister to Pakistan in nearly 20 years. Dar said India placed the 1960 treaty in abeyance after the Pahalgam attack.
