North Korea fires short-range missiles 250 km

North Korea launched multiple short-range ballistic missiles toward the sea on Saturday, Seoul's Joint Chiefs said. The missiles flew about 250 kilometres each from the Wonsan area toward eastern waters. The launches came a day after the US, South Korea and Japan ended their five-day Freedom Edge drill. US Pacific Command said the event posed no immediate threat to allies.
