Police freeze 12 more TMC accounts with over Rs 1,000 crore

West Bengal Police on July 10 froze 12 more Trinamool Congress bank accounts holding over Rs 1,000 crore following complaints of illegal fund diversion, The Hindu reported. The action followed earlier freezing of three accounts with Rs 440 crore by police and the Enforcement Directorate. Mamata Banerjee moved the Calcutta High Court challenging the ED action the same day.
