Australia awards first Michelin stars to 11 restaurants
BBC News··2d ago
Australia received its first Michelin stars, with 11 South Australia restaurants recognised Wednesday. Magill Estate Restaurant in Adelaide was the only two-star venue while 10 others earned one star each. South Australia's government paid for incognito inspectors, so no other states appear in this guide yet. Tourism Minister Emily Bourke said the deal puts the state on the world map.
