Modi crosses longest-serving PM milestone

Prime Minister Narendra Modi surpassed Jawaharlal Nehru's record on Tuesday to become India's longest-serving elected Prime Minister. Modi first took office in May 2014 and secured a third consecutive term in 2024. NDTV reported that leaders from Sri Lanka, Papua New Guinea, and Trinidad and Tobago sent congratulatory messages.
