Delhi Cabinet approves 15000 crore rupee EV policy targeting zero emission transport by March 2030

News On AIR reported June 30 the policy exempts registration fees and road tax on EV cars priced up to 30 lakh rupees. Buyers scrapping old vehicles receive one lakh rupee incentive. Only electric two wheelers may be registered from April 2028 under the four year rollout beginning July 1 with 8,000 crore earmarked for charging infrastructure and tax waivers.
