Sensex falls 475.73 points as US-Iran tension returns

At about 10.50 am on Monday, the Sensex traded 475.73 points or 0.62 percent lower at 76,788.78. The Nifty 50 fell 167.75 points or 0.69 percent to 24,007.90. Brent crude was around $90 a barrel, up about 2 percent after US strikes on Iranian launchers. HDFC Bank rose more than 2 percent on its CEO succession news.
