Bihar warns of 3-metre flood wave entering Gandak river

A flash flood on the Tibet-Nepal border swept through Nepal's Rasuwa district on Wednesday, damaging homes, roads and hydropower infrastructure. Bihar has warned of a flood wave of around three metres entering the Gandak river. West Champaran, East Champaran, Gopalganj and Saran are on alert. The India Meteorological Department expects levels to rise for 24 hours.
