Former Tamil Nadu BJP chief K Annamalai has resigned from the party's primary membership, with BJP president Nitin Nabin accepting the resignation, NDTV Profit reported. The exit ends a high-profile six-year association that began after Annamalai resigned from the IPS and joined the BJP in 2020.
