Allahabad HC quashes Gonda Goonda Act order

The Allahabad High Court quashed a Gonda order naming Zahid Ali a goonda for six months. Justice Subhash Vidyarthi said the Goonda Act is very powerful and needs caution. The May 11 order used 2010 and 2020 cases plus beat information. Ali was acquitted in the 2010 case in 2017. The bench found no rational link to the 2026 order.
