Google DeepMind builds two India farm AI models

Alok Talekar of Google DeepMind said AI can work with traditional Indian farming. His AnthroKrishi team built two models. One maps fields using 15 years of satellite imagery, refreshed every 6 to 12 months. The second tracks 12 crops with six years of data updated twice a month. He said district-level records never fit one farmer's needs.
