NCPI leaders hint at BJP tie-up for Bengal civic polls

NCPI leaders said they may contest West Bengal municipal polls later this year in a BJP-led NDA coalition. Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar and Sudip Bandyopadhyay cited NDA membership after leaving Trinamool Congress. Union minister Sukanta Majumdar said the BJP was focused on all 209 Kolkata Municipal Corporation seats. The BJP won 208 of 294 assembly seats earlier this year.
