Amit Shah to chair Mahanadi dispute meet on October 1

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will chair an October 1 meeting on Mahanadi water sharing between Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Odisha Advocate General Pitamabar Acharya said both chief ministers and engineers are expected. Reports went to the Central Water Commission for the Mahanadi Water Disputes Tribunal. Odisha says Chhattisgarh built more than 500 anicuts and 30 barrages after 2010.
