Uttarakhand raises MBBS intern stipend to Rs 25,000

The Uttarakhand Cabinet on Friday approved raising the monthly honorarium for MBBS interns to Rs 25,000 from Rs 17,000. State Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari announced the decision after a meeting chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Five government medical colleges in Srinagar, Haldwani, Dehradun, Haridwar and Almora run MBBS and postgraduate courses.
