Heavy monsoon rains triggered landslides in Rohingya refugee camps in Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh, killing at least eight refugees including five children on July 7, 2026. Rescuers recovered seven bodies while refugees found an eighth. Two injured children were also rescued.
