The CRPF mandated armoured vehicles for all troop movement in Manipur including ration convoys on July 17. One hundred bulletproof vehicles will be phased into deployment under revised operating procedures drawn from Rajouri-Poonch ambush lessons. Two CoBRA battalions have been deployed.
