TMC loyalists say expelled MLA cannot lead Opposition

Trinamool loyalists said expelled MLA Ritabrata Banerjee cannot be Leader of the Opposition after 58 of 80 MLAs backed him and claimed the principal Opposition role in the Assembly. Kunal Ghosh said MLAs won on Mamata Banerjee's image and an expelled leader cannot head the party. The Trinamool dissolved district and block committees for an overhaul.
