Delhi ACB arrests Jain over jal board tenders

Delhi's Anti-Corruption Branch on 18 August 2026 arrested former minister Satyendar Jain and five others over alleged irregularities in Delhi Jal Board sewage-plant tenders. Those held include former DJB chief executive Udit Prakash Rai. AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal said the arrest was done at the BJP's behest and called the case fabricated. Malhotra asked him to accept the alleged crimes.
