Bihar Congress sets Sept. 8 Delhi protest deadline

Bihar Congress leaders wrote to party president Mallikarjun Kharge saying they will hold a peaceful sit-in outside Indira Bhawan in New Delhi on September 8. They want Bihar in-charge Krishna Allavaru and State president Rajesh Kumar removed. The party won six Assembly seats in 2025, down from 19 in 2020. Anand Madhab said a November 2025 meeting brought no redress.
