Qualcomm executive Durga Malladi said at the Snapdragon Summit that consumers increasingly talk to on-device agents instead of opening many apps. The company on Wednesday launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 for agentic AI workloads on phones.
