Modi leaves for Uzbekistan ahead of 26th SCO summit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 29 said he aims to advance India's SCO vision of security, connectivity and opportunity. He leaves for Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan from August 29 to September 1, 2026. From Tashkent he will travel to Bishkek for the 26th SCO Summit. He will also meet President Zhaparov and attend the 6th World Nomad Games opening.
